Choosing The Correct Domain Name

So whats in a domain name? A lot is in a domain name. It is best to try to get a domain name that is rememberable and pertaining to your industry or having your main keywords in them. It is also very important to try to get a .com domain if you are doing some type of business. If you have a non-profit organization then go ahead and try to claim an .org address. I would suggest staying away from any thing other than .com and not use .biz or .info. These sites seem to be more associated with spammy or scammy sites. At least in the eyes of online surfers.
Using hyphens in your domain is ok, but limit it to around 2, 3 only if really needed. Try not to use words that can be interchanged easily in one’s mind. Examples might be “like or love” or “want or have”.
Other than these simple tasks you should be ok choosing a domain name. Just remember to keep it relative to whatever you are selling or to the information that you are providing.
To get started on getting your domain name you might want to check out godaddy.com . You can get a discount if you use the promo code db1 or db2. It gives you a dollar off. Hey ever bit helps right?
